Why are you surrendering your Airedale?  Please be specific as this helps us finding a foster and adopting the dog. Toby is a great companion dog that would love to be next to his “person” every minute of the day. With a growing family and traveling more for work we have not had the time to give Toby all the individual attention that he needs.

Dogs best qualities. Toby is a great dog and extremely loving. Gentle and patient with kids when no external distractions. Great leash walker and wants to be loved.
Dogs worst qualities Toby is very reactionary and frantic in stressful situations. Guest at the front door or other dogs he becomes reactive at home. At dog parks, he is fine but very protective of his home and family. Reactive but not aggressive. Toby is a great dog but we are not a great fit for him.
Has Airedale received any obedience training? If yes, please describe. Toby has had extensive training starting when he was a puppy. He has passed basic obedient training and has also been through a month long board and train with k9 off leash training.
